Nice read.
I read the bad reviews of this book on here, but got it out of the library anyway. How could a funny guy, write such an unfunny book?
While there were a couple of amusing moments, they were few and far between. The first reviewer said that if you don't find this funny, you either have no sense of humor or take yourself too seriously.
I was a David Steinberg fan in the 60s and 70s. This book tries too hard to be in the King James style.
I highly recommend this cleverly written and VERY funny book. Just don't read it in a place where you need to be quiet.

I agree one hundred percent with Larry King's raves about this book and David Steinberg. I watched Larry King the other night and decided this was a must for my friends.

What a f-ing funny book! I luaghed and laughed and laughed.
It's sure not the average autiobiography. There is nothing average about this book.
Though he has more or less abandoned performing when he became a successful tv director, David Steinberg is still a very funny and inventive talent, as he reveals in this often fanciful memoir, written in mock-Biblical style. The King James conceit threatens to get in the way at times (Steinberg even has to resort to footnotes at times just to interpret his own prose...
